WUBRG separates product facts, rules, observed data, calculations, and advice. A number is published only when its source, population, date, and limitations can be stated beside it.

Source order

Official rules and product documentation for rules or platform claims.
Original datasets with a published collection method.
Direct calculations from disclosed source tables.
Experienced-based guidance, labeled as guidance rather than measured fact.

How public datasets are compared

Sources are not merged when their populations or outcome definitions differ. Casual self-reported games, tournament pods, wins, draws, and points per game remain separate. WUBRG may place them in one comparison table, but does not pretend that they measure the same population.

Required context for a result

Source and source URL.
Date accessed or date computed by the source.
Population and sample size when reported.
Outcome definition and units.
Any calculation performed by WUBRG.
Known selection, reporting, or comparability limits.

Privacy boundary

WUBRG does not silently aggregate private on-device game logs for research. A future WUBRG-owned dataset would require explicit opt-in, a published field list, a stated retention policy, and a way to withdraw before publication. Until then, research pages use attributed public sources and publish their derived comparison tables separately.

Updates and corrections

A modified date changes only after a meaningful factual or analytical revision. Spelling and presentation fixes do not reset the evidence date. Material corrections are incorporated into the page and can be requested through the current support channel.
